DXGF 16-16-5 Beverage Combi Block

The DXGF 16-16-5 combi block integrates rinsing, counter-pressure filling and capping for suitable carbonated beverage production lines.

Category:

DXGF 16-16-5 combi block equipment integrates rinsing, counter-pressure filling and capping in one machine for suitable carbonated beverage applications. Empty bottles enter from an air conveyor and are separated into the first star wheel.

Bottle rinsing

The rinsing carousel grips each bottle from the star wheel and inverts it through 180 degrees. Customer-supplied rinsing media is sprayed through nozzles designed to reach the internal bottle surfaces. Bottles remain inverted briefly after rinsing to drain excess water before returning to the upright position.

Counter-pressure filling

Clean bottles move to the filling carousel through a transfer star wheel. Bottles are prepressurised with carbon dioxide from inside the ring bowl before the filling valve opens and product flows into the bottle. The gas-return pipe length determines the filling level, and different pipe lengths can be used for different target levels.

A bottle sensor provides no-bottle, no-fill operation.

Cap placement and torque control

Filled bottles move to the capping section through a transfer star wheel. A cap unscrambler orients the caps and feeds them through a chute to the cap-feeding plate. A pick-and-place system allows the capping chuck to collect each cap and screw it onto the bottle.

The capping section includes no-bottle, no-cap control. Adjustable magnetic torque heads apply consistent torque to the screw caps. A PLC-controlled cap feeder supplies the unscrambler when required.
