Driven roller conveyor systems provide powered product movement for production, packaging and material-handling lines. Seagle Coding supplies conveyors configured around the product, required travel distance and available production space.
Powered roller operation
The rollers are driven through elastic bands from a central drive shaft. An industrial 0.37 kW motor and gearbox powers the system. A single motor and gearbox can drive a conveyor length of up to 18 m, subject to the application and final conveyor configuration.
Application-specific roller layout
Different roller diameters can be used according to the product and operating requirement. Roller spacing is also selected for the application so that the conveyed item remains properly supported while moving along the line.
Conveyor construction
The frame is manufactured from powder-coated mild steel. Galvanised rollers are fitted to the application-specific layout. Galvanised support legs with feet carry the complete structure and can be bolted to the floor where a fixed installation is required.
