Bentsai B2

Handheld inkjet coding where you need it

The Bentsai B2 handheld inkjet printer provides a portable way to add product identification directly to packaging and other suitable surfaces. Its cartridge-based thermal inkjet (TIJ) system combines touchscreen message editing with manual operation, making it a practical option for small batches, rework and items that are difficult to move through a fixed coding station.

Portable operation

Take the printer to the item and guide it across the printing surface. The handheld format suits intermittent coding and work away from a dedicated production line.

Touchscreen message editing

A 4.3-inch touchscreen provides access to message editing, printing settings and print preview without needing a separate computer for routine operation.

Flexible printed content

Print text, dates and times, barcodes, QR codes and graphics. Seagle can help assess the message layout and the space available on your product.

Replaceable ink cartridge

The cartridge-based system allows straightforward cartridge replacement. Select the correct ink for the surface and required drying and adhesion performance.

Common handheld printing applications

  • Batch numbers, dates and product references on cartons and outer packaging
  • Identification and traceability information on suitable manufactured items
  • Small production batches and occasional coding tasks
  • Rework and additional marking where a fixed printer is impractical

Applications include cardboard, wood, glass, fabric, plastic and metal when paired with suitable ink. Suitability depends on the selected ink, surface finish, printing position and required durability. Send Seagle a sample so the application can be checked.

Choosing the correct printer and ink

Tell us what you need to print, the available marking area, the material and surface finish, and your expected daily output. For smooth or non-absorbent surfaces, ink selection and adhesion testing are especially important. Barcode and QR code layouts should also be checked at their intended size.

The B2 uses a half-inch printing format. Confirm the usable print height and your message layout with Seagle when requesting a quotation. Larger print areas and database-dependent functions require the appropriate model and should be specified separately.

Can it be used on a conveyor?

The B2 can be configured for photoelectric-sensor operation as well as handheld use. If you need automatic coding on a conveyor, Seagle will assess the mounting arrangement, sensor, ink, line speed and supplied accessory configuration before recommending the setup.
