Questions about RED TIJ printers
Which print height do I need?
Choose around the height of your complete code, including text, graphics and barcodes. TIJ.1 and TIJ.2 use half-inch cartridges; the PLUS configurations use one-inch cartridges. For dual-head installations, discuss the position of each printhead and the required code layout with Seagle.
Can the printer produce QR codes and barcodes?
Yes. The manufacturer lists QR codes, DataMatrix and linear barcode formats, including Code 128 and EAN-13. Supply your required data format and a sample of the product or packaging so that the intended code size and print quality can be assessed.
What information should I send for a quotation?
Include the product material, print content, required code height, conveyor speed and available mounting space. Tell us whether you need one or two printheads and whether the application uses cartons, labels, containers or another surface.
